I heart Zappos! I ordered a new pair of MBT shoes....peeps these shoes rule! (side note: if you have lower back pain or joint pain..these totally take it away. Even though they look like moon shoes, I am in love.) I ordered them Saturday and just because, Zappos upgraded my shipping to overnight, meaning they just landed on my doorstep! That is how to get a returning customer...I'm sold.
After all of yesterday's sadness, I was again reminded of just how short life is. Take the time today to tell those around you just how much you love them!
Oh Porcelana, how I love thee! Even though I slather myself in 70+ sunblock, the sun still finds me, and just to taunt me, leaves me brown spots to let me know it found my face. But after a week of using you, you have lightened my spots but not my wallet with your $7.00 price tag! Just wanted to say thanks!
Over the weekend, Matty and I went to one of our new favorite hot spots, Crema! Crema is an endearing little coffee shop tucked away behind the big tall buildings of downtown Nashville. Our drinks of choice were "the lutito" for me (a drink we found out was named for a friend of ours), and the Chemex brew for Matty. The Chemex looks similar to a fancy wine decanter, and brews one of the smoothest cups of coffee I have ever tasted! Apparently the shape and filter used for this design takes away the acidity and bitterness that some coffees produce. If you are a lover of coffee this is definitely something you should try. If you live in Nashville, visit Crema and enjoy your new favorite place to sit and sip!
This weekend was overwhelmingly love filled! We celebrated pretty low key since next month we will celebrate by going to Vegas and renewing our vows with Elvis! I awoke to a custom anniversary mix created by Matty, and he out did himself! All day I was given cards, 5 for 5 years, which is present enough because I love Matty's cards! His handwriting looks like something from the Constitution and feelings are just better felt when you get to read them over and over! I have kept every single card or note he has ever given me! Then we capped off the weekend with our favorite date, the drive-in movie! Nothing is more romantic! Go here for a list of drive-in's and see if there is one in your area!
5 years ago tomorrow, I married my soulmate! It feels like only yesterday we were saying our vows and celebrating with friends! Matty you are a gift from God! I have been wanting to paint our fridge for sometime...this just may be my answer! Home Depot carries chalkboard paint in a color that will match my jadite collection perfectly!
Tonight is opening night for a play I am in called, "Seeing Stars In Dixie". The play is set in the 1950's and tells the story of the filming of Raintree County in Natchez, Mississippi. Can I just say, I am not sure they make 'em like Montgomery Clift anymore....he is just dreamy! I have shows all weekend so I won't be able to do much blogging. I hope to be back on Monday with photos of my gorgeous vintage inspired costumes!

I picked up a bottle of Degree Body Mist after my workout yesterday, and couldn't figure out why I loved the smell so much. I finally realized that the "sexy intrigue" (yes, it's called that) scent smells just like Lolita Lempicka, a fave perfume of mine from college! So if you are a fan of Lolita Lempicka, you can get a knock off for a little under $5.00 at your nearest drugstore!
