This past weekend Mr. Matty took me to see Whip It and I must say it met all of my expectations! Drew Barrymore captured everything I love about roller derby and threw in some great costumes, a fantastic cast, and fun music. Nashville native, Landon Pigg, was even the featured love interest! I was also thrilled when a girl in the movie was using my derby name, Princess Slaya! Go see this movie! You will love it!

I promise you I leaned over to Jonathan during the movie and told him that it reminded me of you. I really think that you introduced the roller derby to me. I don't know that I had ever heard of it. Loved the movie.
