sucker

I should have kept walking, but the bright red lid called to me! I'm always giving Mr. Matty a hard time for being a sucker for packaging, but this time I took the bait. Hook line and sinker. Like I really need a jar of Marshmallow Fluff sitting in my cabinet. But the lid, label, that color scheme....I couldn't resist! Looks like there will be some peanut butter and marshmallow fluff on crackers in my future!

P.S. Don't forget that the deadline to enter the Shabby Apple giveaway is midnight tonight! The winner will be announced on MONDAY! Have a great weekend!

Um. I totally keep these jars and use them in decoration. I sort of love them.

Oh WOW that takes me back! I remember I was always SO jealous of the kids that got PB and Fluff sandwiches in their lunches. (But really, what parent sits down and is like, Hmmm Yeah, that's some good nutrition for my kid right there!)

I'm thinking you should dip oreos in PB and marshmellow fluff. HEAVEN.

PS. My Captcha to post is "WORES". Hmm.

the jar is great!

and this reminded of my school days when I used to pack those pb and marshmallow fluff sandwiches.

my mom has always been one of those moms too, who would shop at the health store and make veggie juices before it was cool. I can't believe i got away with those sandwiches!!

ooooh -- is that a glass jar?? I'm a sucker for glass jars (esp ones w/ red lids, hello!) and marshmallow anything. Yep, the packaging & design are perfect. Happy Fluffer-Nuttering!

Yes...don't you love a glass jar! The best part is that the word FLUFF is embossed in the glass!

I am partial to the packaging for Fluff too, but it also is a staple ingredient in some damn tasty "foolproof" fudge - I believe the recipe is on the side of the jar - and if you're lucky there's still an address where you can send away for a Fluff cookbook! I have one in my collection somewhere, I'll have to see what crazy recipes they have.

The larger size is also great packaging as it's a reusable plastic tub with a cheery red top. We have many a jar and tub in our basement keeping screws and buttons organized.

In my old neck of the woods - Boston - well Somerville actually, they have a Fluff FESTIVAL every year!

Great stuff, that fluff!
