Over the weekend Doris got a bit of a makeover. I thought you would like to see some before and after photos. When we got her, she came painted in a really great vintage green, but the green and the blue cushions didn't really work together. "We" decided instead to paint it white with a blue ceiling. (this was a little bit of a design battle with Mr. Matty because he really loved the green, but re-painting is cheaper than re-upholstering cushions) After it was painted, I decided on a fun wallpaper to give the back bunks a little bedroom look. I'm a full believer in a good "shortcut", so instead of really wallpapering the walls, I hung it using flat thumbtacks. Next up...curtains!
